FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. What is Operation F.O.C.U.S. ? FOCUS stands for For Our Students’ Uncompromised Safety. It is a parent run organization which sponsors a post prom event for the juniors and seniors (and their dates) of Phoenixville Area High School.
2. What is a Post Prom Event? A Post Prom Event is an entertainment extravaganza that is held immediately after the Prom to offer students a safe, alcohol and drug free night of fun activities.
3. When is the Post Prom Event? The Post Prom Party is held immediately following the Prom from 11pm-4am.
4. Why do we need a Post Prom Event? To keep our students and community safe. Every year students are killed in drunken driving accidents or in drug or alcohol-related violence after their prom. Operation FOCUS has been keeping our students and community safe since 2000.
5. Who can attend the Post Prom Event? All juniors, seniors of the PAHS and their dates.
6. What kind of activities are planned at the Post Prom? We have had a variety of activities at FOCUS such as live entertainment, sports games, gaming tables, large inflatable games, small games, prizes, music, tattoos, photo booths, food and great prizes!
7. Where is the Post Prom being held? The Post Prom is held at Phoenixville Area High School. Our decorating committee transforms the school in to an unrecognizable themed event PAHS!
8. What is the cost? The event is FREE to all students who attending the event. The Post Prom Event is sponsored by parents, local businesses, and members of the community who want to offer students a safe and secure environment to enjoy one of the most memorable nights of their young lives.

10. My student is an underclassman, why should I get involved? We need everyone’s participation to run an event of this magnitude. Your child will be a junior senior in the blink of an eye. If we don’t keep the tradition going now, there may not be a post prom event when your child is a junior.
11. How does my child sign up? There will be sign ups during lunch time at PAHS.
12. How will I know what time my child leaves FOCUS to return home? If your child leaves before 3:00 AM, you will be called.
